What We Grow

Vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers. You won't find your typical farmers market items at Pura Farms. We specialize in growing unique varieties that stand out in size, flavor, color, and cultural relevance.

Pura Farms is a seasonal operation, meaning our produce drops are changing weekly. We only operate from March-November, and we believe that's how it should be.

We don't bend over backwards to make items available all the time, nor out of season. We honor the preferences of the plants and trust they'll be available to us when the timing is just right. Peak ripeness, and the best quality. Every time.

How We Grow

We're so proud to provide our produce to a community that really cares how their food is grown, and how the workers are treated who grow that food.

Pura Farms' produce is regeneratively grown. You can see these practices in action on our social media and the blog. I'll save you all the details to tell you this much - we are in deep relations with the soil, microorganisms, pollinators, plants, and people that sustain this small but mighty operation. Every single decision we make on the farm takes into consideration the health of our workers and the communities we serve. We feed our families with the food we produce, and we aren't messing around.

Where We Serve

Pura Farms serves Chefs, Restaurants, and other Wholesale friends in New Jersey. We do not have a farm stand on site and do not currently sell at any markets.

But keep an eye out! We occasionally offer exclusive produce drops to the public and if you subscribe to our newsletter, you can likely get your hands on a seasonal box of the tastiest produce.

Who We Source From

Pura Farms grows majority of the produce we sell, but we are also an Aggregator. Meaning, we grow the produce that we're really good at, and leave the rest to our neighboring farmer friends. As a small operation, we can't do everything, and shouldn't have to. That's why you may see other farms listed in our product catalog. By supporting us, you're supporting them too!

We leverage our Chef relationships to move a collective of NJ produce to restaurants across the state. It's a farmer-owned supply chain, and the direct relationship you have with your growers speaks for itself.

The future of agriculture depends on organizing and collaborating with other local producers, and we're so damn proud of that.
